In hopes of a good year. :D

I also haven't fallen off the face of the earth. :D

I'm at school, and today is the first day of classes! I've spent 600 dollars on books, and I'm ready to have my mind filled. ;)

I'm headed to breakfast with my lab partner, Dana, before Biology and then I have a couple hours off before Cultural Anthropology and French. Tomorrow I have Intro to Writing Fiction and a History class. It should be a good semester.

I've enjoyed seeing all my friends, and I think we're definitely going to have a good year.

My room is awesome, my building is sweet, my suitemates are cool, and my suite is still filled with boxes but has a GIANT PANDA on the wall.

Driving Home

These are a few photos I took a week or two ago. I was driving home from Kalispell, and had to pull over and take a couple photos.

Baking Bread

I've been on a cooking/baking/cleaning spree lately. Here are some pictures of my bread baking process as well as a list of ingredients/instructions.

For two small loaves I use
1/2 cup light vanilla soy milk
3 tablespoons of sugar
2 teaspoons of salt
3 tablespoons of melted butter
2 packets of yeast
5-7 cups of flour

I mix the yeast according to the package (aka, warm bowl, warm water, sugar, stir, let sit). Then I add the milk, sugar, salt and butter. I stir until the mixture is sorta homogenous. Then I add flour, a cup at a time, until I get bread dough. I knead, let it sit and rise for an hour (in a bowl sprayed with nonstick spray and covered by a towel), then bake at 400 for 30 minutes.

It is delicious.
